Adult Diamond Python and Enclosure - Great First Python! in DONCASTER EAST, Victoria for sale

Up for sale is my 7 year old Diamond Python and his enclosure. All together the enclosure, set up and value of the python is around $3, 000. Enclosure is set up and ready to go. Reason for selling is I am moving out and cannot take him with me.
The python, believed to be a male, is approximately 6 1/2ft long, and eats very enthusiastically on extra-large rats or quail once a fortnight over summer, and at his or my discretion over the cooler months. He is a bit of a gentle giant, his previous owner being a 10 year old girl. He has bitten me once over the entire time I have had him, at my own fault while feeding him, when he missed the rat and struck my hand. Up until that point and ever since then, he has been the perfect python and has never bitten or even struck at anyone, ever. I handle him at least twice a week to ensure this (usually more), and he is very happy to be held and out of the enclosure for a stretch. He also sheds perfectly, in one piece every time. This is a great first snake as he is not too large, and very calm.
FYI the enclosure is an excellent corner display piece and has glass on all sides. It is 9sq foot at the base, sitting on a cabinet 2ft high, with the enclosure section measuring to a total of 6ft. If we have agreed on a purchase, I will dismantle it ready for transport, however you will need a large car and 2 people to transport the pieces, as they are large and heavy. The enclosure is ready to go, with all heating and lighting packaged with the enclosure and python.
