28in x 7in Deep, Vintage Marching Bass Drum [DE 0160]
This drum actually measures 27.5in in diameter, just like many Vintage Bass Drums we've seen, which are often slightly under 28 inch.
It has the original calf heads fitted on both sides, which gives it a very dark, deep and tribal sound.
It has 10 lugs and the timber is either Maple or Birch.
You can also buy clip-on Bass Drum legs online to attach to the front hoop, so it can be played with a pedal, or you can mount it on your chest and use it as a Marching Drum, as was originally done.
This drum looks like it's from around the 1920's, which means it's almost 100 years old folks! WOW!!!!
